ANZHELINA POLONSKAYA
ANZHELINA POLONSKAYA was born in Malakhovka, a small town near Moscow. Polonskaya has had the opportunity to participate in a number of prestigious writing residencies and has published translations in many of the leading world poetry journals, including The American Poetry Review, AGNI, Ploughshares, The Kenyon Review, and Narrative. The author of over a dozen works of prose and poetry, Polonskaya is also a nominee and recipient of numerous awards and prizes. Her latest poetry collection, “Take me to Stavanger” was published in September 2023 with University of Pittsburgh Press. Her work has also been translated into German, Dutch, Slovenian, Latvian, and Spanish.
