MAURA MODEYA is a poet from rural Minnesota. Their work explores dykes with insomnia, the ghost of Sappho, US gun violence, and the poetic disruption of public space through wheatpasting. Maura’s writing appears in Terse Journal, Visible Binary, The Texas Review, MAYDAY, and South Broadway Press, and their chapbook Only Interested in Everything from Meekling Press. They hold an MFA from Naropa’s Jack Kerouac School and recently relocated to Atlanta.
